Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission adheres to our Author Guidelines and our Manuscript Guidelines, and all DOIs for online references have been provided, when available.
  • The author declares the absence of any conflict of interest and warrants that the work does not infringe upon any copyright, proprietary, or personal right of any third party.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The manuscript has been appropriately blinded for review and meta-data that may make the authors identifiable have been removed (in Word, via File, Info, Inspect document).
  • You certify that all authors are human and jointly have full intellectual ownership of the submitted manuscript, and that you as authors take full responsibility for its contents. The use of generative AI-based technology is allowed as a helping tool, but needs to be stipulated honestly and transparently upon submission in a Statement of Technology Use.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
